Privacy Policy

Webb World Developments Inc. Effective date 2026

Webb World Developments Inc. ("Webb World Developments," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect through webbhomes.ca (the "Site"), why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.

We handle personal information in accordance with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

1. What personal information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit a contact or inquiry form, or otherwise reach out to us, we collect the information you provide. This typically includes your name, email address, phone number, and any details you include in your message (for example, what you're looking for in a home or your preferred tour times).

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically, including your IP address, browser type, device information, the pages you view, and how you arrived at the Site. This is gathered through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).

Security and anti-spam. Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which helps us tell real visitors from automated bots. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information and sends it to Google for analysis. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

2. Why we collect it

We collect personal information only for reasonable purposes connected to our home development and sales business, including to:

  • respond to your tour requests, questions, and inquiries;

  • arrange and confirm private showings;

  • follow up with you about a property you've expressed interest in;

  • keep you informed about availability, pricing, or new listings where you've agreed to hear from us;

  • operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site; and

  • meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

We will not use your information for a new purpose without first obtaining your consent, unless permitted or required by law.

3. Consent

By submitting a form or sending us your information, you consent to our collecting and using that information for the purposes described above. Where the purpose is obvious from the circumstances — for example, giving us your phone number so we can call you back about a tour — your consent is implied.

You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual limits, by contacting us using the details in Section 10. If you withdraw consent, we may no longer be able to provide certain services, such as scheduling a tour.

4. How we use and share your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We share it only where necessary, and only with:

  • Service providers who help us run the Site and our business — for example, our website host, email and CRM tools, and Google reCAPTCHA. These providers may only use your information to perform services for us.

  • Professional advisors such as our lawyers or accountants, where required.

  • Authorities or other parties when we are required or permitted to do so by law, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

Some of our service providers (including Google) may store or process data on servers located outside of Canada. Where that happens, your information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.

5. Marketing communications

If you opt in to receive updates from us — for example, news about new homes or availability — we will only send those communications with your consent, in keeping with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. Withdrawing from marketing emails does not affect our ability to contact you about a tour or inquiry you've specifically asked about.

6. Cookies and analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to function properly, remember your preferences, keep the Site secure, and understand how visitors use it. We may use analytics tools to measure traffic and improve the experience.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Disabling cookies may affect how parts of the Site work.

7. How we protect and store your information

We use reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect your personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes it was collected for, or as required by law. When information is no longer needed, we securely destroy, delete, or anonymize it.

8. Your rights

Under PIPA, you have the right to:

  • ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access to it;

  • request a correction if you believe the information is inaccurate or incomplete; and

  • ask how your information has been used or disclosed.

To make a request, contact our Privacy Officer (Section 10). We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will reply within the timelines set by law.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page, with the effective date shown at the top. Significant changes will take effect when posted.
